Busy building a future, please pardon our mess as we finish the website.
Let's talk about what is a good type of Marketing Strategy your company or product needs. What's good for one is not necessarily good for another.
Brand Marketing- This is creating a style or feeling of your business. Something like wanting an antique shop having an old fashioned look and feel to it.
Product Marketing- The same concept as Brand Marketing, but with just a product. So you have a product that is very luxury oriented, you would not want to 'package' it in a bright childs type box. In that same note, your company should probably have a Luxury feel to it, or at the least, if your products vary from luxury to common, you should mix the feeling of your company.
Demand Generation Marketing- This is the process of pushing the brand infront of the public more and more so you can sell your products or services. This can be social media interactions, public relations or community involvement.
Neuromarketing- Methods of marketing that have been studies to make an impact on customer's brain activity, thoughts and feelings. Things like tracking how people go through a grocery store to place their product in the most ideal space for customers to get the product.
Inbound Marketing- This is a type of marketing that draws leads of customers to you through helpful content, like podcasts, or infomercials. This is where you want the customers to reach out to you for your product first.
Outbound Marketing- This type of marketing is where the company reaches out to the customers with direct mail, cold emails, and digital ads.
Account-Based Marketing- This is where you as the customer to create an "account" and login. Shopping clubs and streaming services are a great example.
Direct Marketing- This is marketing like emails, and direct mail. Usually you can purchase a list of potential customers based on the demographic of your base.
Content Marketing- Much like outbound marketing, where you reach out with as much information about your product or service in a blog, vlog, video or infomercial.
Fundraising- Sometimes companies use campaigns for causes they care about to express their values through events for their cause. It is a great way to set a visual or redirect a 'feel' for your company while you are re-branding your company.
Advertising- Often misunderstood as "marketing" when actually, this is a tool where you promote your Brand, or product through many sources, such as digital, or physical advertisements.
Public Relations- Getting out in the community where you are and sharing your brand and products to create a relationship with the public and stakeholders. Sponsoring sports or dance teams is a great way to go public.
Sales Promotion- These are usually a plan to promote a discount or specific items value and can be useful for a season, such as a summer of entry tickets for a giveaway trip.
Customer Marketing- This type of marketing is focused on customers you already have instead of potential customers. Companies like cell phone companies will have marketing campaigns that will focus on getting customers to stay with them vs going to the competition.
